If we superimpose an imaginary circle of 5km on the Porto Pino area,  a distance that can be easily covered on foot, we would find such a variety of natural environments that it has no comparison with any other point on planet earth. 

Long beaches with crystal clear water that slopes gently, sand dunes, coves, pine forests, cliffs, sea beds, lagoons.

… almost a continent!
